Red Devils Fall to Dodge County Indians
On Friday, December 4^th, the Devils traveled to Eastman to face the Dodge County Indians for three games. The Junior Varsity Red Devils played in the first game of the evening. The final score in that game was Hawkinsville 19, Dodge County 45.   

The second game of the evening was played between the Lady Devils and the Lady Squaws. At the end of the first quarter, the Lady Squaws were leading  7 to 4. When the second quarter ended, Hawkinsville was down 8 to 27. The third quarter ended with the Lady Devils trailing 19 to 38. The final score was Hawkinsville 23, Dodge County 48. 

The Lady Devils combined to pull down 32 rebounds, 19 of those being defensive rebounds.  Leading rebounders were Ykeshia Baker with 9, Ashley Gilbert with 8, and Sharinea Coley with 4.  The Lady Devils gave 4 assists, led by Kamara Bembry with 2.  Hawkinsville had 10 steals.  The team was led by D’Aria Brown and Sharinea Coley with 3 steals each.  The Lady Devils blocked 9 shots, led by Ykeshia Baker with 5.  The team had 8 defensive deflections.  Hawkinsville scored 3 points on turnovers and allowed 14 points on turnovers.  The Lady Devils had one player in double figures. 

The third game of the day saw the Red Devils squaring off against the Indians.  The first quarter ended with the Red Devils down only a single basket, 8 to 10.  At the end of the second quarter, DodgeCounty was leading 28 to 12.  When the third quarter ended, the Red Devils were trailing 18 to 56.  The final score was Hawkinsville 26, Dodge County 66. 

The Red Devils combined to pull down 37 rebounds, 20 of those being offensive rebounds.  Leading rebounders were Deion Colson and Brandon Adams with 7 each, Aaron Black with 5, and Jarvis Tinsley and Camaron Moses with 4 each.  The Red Devils gave 6 assists, led by Camaron Moses and Brian Holmes with 2 apiece.  Hawkinsville had 7 steals.  The team was led by Camaron Moses with 5 steals.  The Red Devils blocked 6 shots, led by Eddie Griggs with 2.  The team had 14 defensive deflections.  Hawkinsville scored no points on turnovers but allowed 12 points on turnovers. 

Pulaski County Middle School Game Schedule

Thursday, December 10^th, will see the Devils on the road traveling to Rochelle to face the Wilcox County Patriots for a pair of games beginning at 4:00 p.m.  On Saturday, December 12^th, the Devils will travel to McRae to face the Telfair County Trojans for a pair of games beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Monday, December 14^th, will see the Devils hosting the Macon County Bulldogs for a pair of games beginning at 4:00 p.m. 

HHS Game Schedule 

On Friday, December 11^th, the Devils will host the Lee County Trojans.  The JV games are scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. with the Varsity games beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Tuesday, December 15^th, will see the Devils hosting the Twiggs County Cobras.  The JV Red Devils are scheduled to play at 4:00 p.m., with a pair of Varsity games to begin at 6:00 p.m.  The Devils will then host the Bleckley County Royals on Friday, December 18^th.  There will be a pair of JV games beginning at 4:00 p.m. with the Varsity games beginning at 7:00 p.m.
